TWO KIDS FOR CHANGE

TWO KIDS FOR CHANGE

Who Are We?

Two Kids for Change is a registered Canadian charity that provides grocery gift cards to families in need.

We are different from most charities because we believe that every dollar from every donation should be used to serve our mission. That is why we are fully volunteer run and 100% of every donation goes directly to families in need.

How does our program work?

We achieve our mission through our longstanding partnership with the Peel District School Board.

Their phenomenal team of social workers works directly with children in every public school in Mississauga and Brampton. As such, they know which families need help the most and can distribute our grocery cards accordingly. By working through the social work team at the school board, we avoid administration costs and arguably, distribute grocery cards more effectively than any other method.

How did we start?

We were founded in 2013 by two brothers, Nicholas and Daniel Sequeira, who started TKFC when they were teenagers.

They saw a youth, similar in age to them, asking for food outside a grocery store. Wanting to help and inspired by Craig Kielburger, who founded Free the Children as a teenager, they started Two Kids for Change. To date, TKFC has distributed over $25,000 in grocery gift cards to families in need.
